Failure is never final

By Rusty Potter

We must remember our most tremendous success in life is not falling down, but getting back up every time we fall. Failure is a temporary condition. Nelson Mandela said, “Do not judge me by my success, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up.” A person must be prepared to fight a battle several times before winning. You must know everything you need to succeed is on the inside of you. You have the power to pick yourself up and move forward to win. There are lessons to be learned from all mistakes. You have the ability to turn your setback into your comeback.

You have the power to say, “This is not how my story will end.” You are not what happened to you, you are what you choose to become. Your past does not equal your future. Do not lose hope. Today, you can become better, wiser, and stronger than yesterday. Remember, your greatest adversity will lead you to your greatest opportunity in life. Sometimes, life can be tough, and so can you.
