Cold, Snow bring extra days off for many

  “Oh Great, another snow day” was the reaction of many students and teachers in the Parish and city school systems. “Oh No, who’s gonna keep these children” was the reaction of working parents who learned that the school system locally were taking two snow days in a row, after a Martin Luther King Holiday on Monday.

     The school closures in most of Northeast Louisiana came in the wake of bone-chilling weather that this area has not seen in three decades.
