City Housing fair Saturday to provide info on renter’s rights

The City of Monroe’s annual Housing Fair and Expo, set to take place on Saturday, June 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Abe Pierce Convention Center, will provide valuable information and resources for renters and those seeking assistance with heir property issues.

According to Ellen Hill, PUD director for the city, the event, organized by the Planning and Urban Development Department in partnership with the Louisiana Housing Corporation and feature sponsor Homeland Bank, aims to empower attendees with knowledge about their rights and available support.
