The public is accustomed to seeing persons campaigning for public office, but this week there were volunteers on street corners in another campaign, a campaign to raise awareness about adoption.
Across the state volunteers are engaged in a variety of activities that raise awareness about the need for more adoptive parents. In Monroe, volunteers were on several high traffic intersections, waving and talking to the curious about the need for more adoptive parents.
