Three school board members to face opposition in November elections

While the majority of the Monroe City School Board will begin a new four-year term in January, three members will face run-offs.

When qualifying for school board closed last week: school board members Bill Willson, Jennifer Haneline, Brandon “BJ” Johnson, and Betty Ward Cooper will serve another four years on the board because they were unopposed.
