Solomon Temple Baptist Church, 700 Atkinson Street Monroe, Louisiana honored its pastor and wife for 31 years of faithful service, on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the 11:00 a.m. service.
The guest church and pastor was the Reverend A. B. Davis-Johnson and the Rose of Sharon Baptist Church.
All eyes and ears were opened as Rev. Johnson spoke from John 21: 15-17.
Jesus questions Peter and reminds him as shepherd of his flock to feed his lambs.
He culminates with a reminder to Peter to feed his sheep.
We were reminded that sheep get sheep, and that we should feast on the word of God, making it a daily meal.
Mistress of ceremony, Sister Tongia Hill, guided the program to perfection as the Rose of Sharon choir, ushers, deacons and their members along with the Solomon Temple Church family worshipped the Lord in the beauty of Holiness.
The word of God left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of the congregation as they worshipped God in songs, prayer, and praises.
Much appreciation and thanks go out to all attendees from Program Coordinator Sister Edna White, Solomon Temple’s Pastor James Howard and wife Evangelist Virginia Howard.
The word will be remembered, and for those who think they might forget, videos and DVD’s are made available by simply contacting Deacon Arthur Clark at 318-791-7531.
