Services Saturday for Bonet’ Goldston, 32

Services will be held Saturday for well-known makeup artist who died last week.

Funeral services for Bonet’ J. Goldston will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Greater Antioch Baptist Church.

Mrs. Goldston, who was 32 years old, died July 18, 2022.

The visitation will be Friday, July 29, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McFarland Funeral Home on Berg Jones Lane.

Her official obituary reads as follows:

Bonet’ J. Tobias Goldston, lovingly known as “Nae” was born September 23, 1989, in Monroe, LA, to the late Bolton Tobias, Jr. and Stephanie C. Lawrence Tobias. She made her heavenly departure on July 18, 2022, at Houston Methodist Center, Houston, TX, after a courageous battle with Lupus. Bonet’ was baptized at an early age at the Lighthouse Church, Monroe, LA, under the leadership of Bishop Alvin J. Walker.
She graduated from Richwood High School and received her formal education at Delta Community College in Nursing Assistance and her license in insurance adjusting. Bonet’ enjoyed the good life and found joy in traveling and helping others. She was passionate about makeup artistry as well as painting.
Bonet’ met and married Gregory Goldston on June 2, 2020, in Monroe, LA. Bonet’ and Greg spent their time together traveling until her health declined. She was well-loved and will be truly missed by all whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her father, Bolton Tobias, Jr., grandparents: Bettie Lawrence and Dan Elmore of Monroe, LA, and nephew Johntavious Tobias, Jr.

Bonet’ leaves to cherish her memories: Her faithful and loving husband, Gregory Goldston of Houston, TX; mother, Stephanie Lawrence-Tobias of Monroe, LA; brothers: Nicholas Lawrence of Monroe, LA, Johntavious Tobias of Austin, TX; Danny Tobias, David Tobias, Keith Tobias, Bolton Tobias, III, Mark Tobias, Jamard Tobias, all of New Orleans, LA and Paul Williams of Monroe, LA. Sisters: Crystal Lawrence and Alexis Lawrence, both of Monroe, LA; Aunts: Betty (Sally) Tobias of New Orleans, LA; Molly Tobias-Veals of New Orleans, LA; Carla (Isaac) Roberson of Westerville, OH; great-aunt Yvonne Marles of Monroe, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
