The Southside Economic Development District (SEDD) has approved funding for a series of mini-grants and the renovation of the “Dream Center” on Arizona Street, as part of its ongoing efforts to reduce crime, improve neighborhoods, and promote non-violent conflict resolution in South Monroe.
During its regular meeting held Monday night at the Marbles Recreation Center, SEDD President Tony Little announced the organization’s plan to engage dozens of local groups in projects aimed at combating crime and educating residents about peaceful conflict resolution.
