Those attending the Wossman High School coronation Tuesday witnessed a bit of history when the Senior Maid of Honor of the homecoming court made her debut.
A’Shyria Montgomery was introduced as the homecoming senior maid, but the historic moment happened when her escort was named: Tristen Wooten.
Six years ago, Wooten also escorted Montgomery when she was crowned Miss Minnie Ruffin Elementary.
