About 350 mourners were on hand Wednesday for the funeral service of a local soldier who died recently.
Petty Officer 2nd Class Mi’key Reese, Sr., was buried with full military honors after a memorial service in which he was praised for his dedication to the Navy and to his family.
The service was held in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church facility.
