Keep LA. Beautiful (KLB) and the office of the Lieutenant Governor launched a “Love The Boot” campaign from April 5-13, 2025. There were litter removal and many beautification projects throughout the entire state of LA.
Local individuals and organizations are to be commended throughout Ouachita Parish for their efforts to participate in this much-needed project. We encourage residents, business owners, and organizations to “Love Our Parish” and continue their efforts to consistently beautify our community.
In several locations in our community, we have tall grass on vacant lots, dilapidated houses, abandoned cars, and much more that need our undivided attention. Most community organizations have community service commitments, which are part of their program of work. “Adopt A Spot” in our community and let’s get busy.
After all, Love Where We Live and Live where we Love!
