Mayfield Heights, Ohio– Jose Ervin, III, and A-ria were born on August 18, the same day as Scierra Blair, an African American mother from Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and her husband Jose Ervin Jr. were also born.
In touching images posted by the Cleveland Clinic, the proud parents can be seen cradling their fraternal twins, according to WSVN.
At the end of the month, Scierra was expected to give birth to her children, but things didn’t quite go as planned. Just one day before her birthday, which also happens to be Ervin’s birthday, she actually began having contractions a few days earlier.
To officially welcome the twins, the parents, and the medical staff at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights chose to wait until midnight. Jose was born a minute later, at 12:36, and little A-ria was born at 12:35.
Additionally, according to the Cleveland Clinic, both infants are healthy and weighed a little over 5 pounds each.
