Mayor Jamie Mayo will be attending the 85th Annual Conference of Mayors in Miami, Florida, June 23-26, 2017. Under the leadership of Conference President Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett, over 250 mayors from cities of all sizes and all regions of the nation will gather.
&nsp;These municipal leaders will vote on the policy of the organization, share best practices and innovations, and engage in direct conversations with top-level federal officials, policy experts, and the business community on priorities such as: infrastructure investment, protecting Community Development Block Grant funding, public safety, immigration, tax-exempt bonds, healthcare, workforce, education, technology, and much more.
&nsp;Mayor Jamie Mayo is a member of the Conference’s Transportation and Communication Committee and the Arts & Tourism Committee.
&nsp;The United States Conference of Mayors is the official non-partisan organization of cities with a population of 30,000 and over. The cities are represented by their mayors other chief elected official.
