Hey everyone, I will write about those pesky diagnostic tests, fitting in, and shorts.
The Pros and Cons of School Diagnostic tests
PRO’S
The diagnostic test is a test taken at the beginning of the year. You might wonder why
someone would give a student a test at the beginning of the year. The reason is that the school
needs to know where to start the student. This helps the teachers get an understanding of the
student’s current knowledge. Another good thing about this test is that it doesn’t pressure you as much as other tests because it isn’t for a grade. Students just do their best.
Con’s
Most students would agree that this is a horrible and awful test. The reason is that it is an
insanely long and hard test with things you might not have seen before. This test is also called
horrible because it is done at the beginning of the year, right when you are getting adjusted.
Imagine it is the first week of school, and you do an essay.
Fitting in
When with a big group, most people want to try to fit in. There are good and bad things about
trying. I’ll start by stating some of the good things. Some of the good things are that if you fit in,
you can talk to people about personal things, and they will understand if you are dealing with
something. A true friend would understand. However, someone who is not your friend would not
care unless they are just nice.
Now, I will tell you about some of the bad things about trying to fit in. Most people struggle to fit in at school because they are not like everyone else, so they must change their personalities. They shouldn’t do it because then they might lose their entire personality, and that is not something they want to do. If that happened, then the student’s parents or siblings would be very confused and concerned.
