Hello everyone it is me and this week I will be discussing some interesting topics. These topics are snails, random facts, BTG member Tyler Leonard, and fruits and vegetables.

Snails

First of all, I want to make sure we are all on the same page. Slugs and snails are very similar, but there is a difference: a snail has a shell, while a slug does not. So now that we’re on the right track, let’s dive in. Snails first evolved 500 million years ago, which is a long time ago. Some snails have over 200,000 teeth. Thinking about that is horrifying. If you are also horrified by your imagination, then rest assured that their teeth are microscopic, so you won’t even be able to see them.

Random facts

There are 293 different ways to make change for a dollar. I wonder if you can figure out the 293 different ways to do that. The reason keyboards aren’t arranged alphabetically is that when typewriters were originally invented, they were arranged alphabetically, which caused people to type too fast and jammed the machine; so they arranged them in what is known as a QWERTY layout to slow down the typers.

Tyler Leonard

He is the son of Aaron Sherman and Germekia Leonard. With a strong desire to obtain knowledge, he joined The Black Tie Guys on July 14, 2023. He now attends Our Lady of Fatima School. He eagerly acquired swimming skills, and he is determined to maintain his spot as an honor student. He has a strong desire to uncover his talents and nurture them.

Fruits and Vegetables

One interesting fact about fruits and vegetables is that avocados aren’t actually vegetables. Avocados are fruits because they meet the criteria for berries—hint: the big seed in the middle. Strawberries aren’t berries; most consider them “false fruits” because they come from a single flower with more than one ovary. The funny thing is that a banana is considered a berry because of the many tiny seeds it has.
