Funeral Saturday for Johnny Lemons

Funeral sermons for a Monroe man who died unexpectedly, will be held Saturday in Baton Rouge.

Services for Johnny Lemons, 66, will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Miller and Daughter Mortuary, 5905 Hwy. 19, Zachary,  in Baton Rouge.

Lemons official obituary is as follows:

Johnny Lemons was born, January 14, 1953, in Jones, La. and died August 16, 2019 in Baton Rouge, La. at 10:33 a.m.

Johnny was born to Limmie Lemons, his mother and Pyhian Day his father in Jones, La.

He was reared by his grandmother, Beatrice Lemons in Jones, La.

Johnny graduated from Bonita High School in 1971 and went on to attend
Southern University in Baton Rouge, La. He graduated in 1980 with a degree in Agriculture Engineering.

In 2006, he graduated from a Culinary School in Seattle, Washington.

Johnny retired as a Truck Driver for Hertz in Baton Rouge, La.

In 1973, Johnny met and married Femnie Grayson in Baton Rouge, La. and to this union one son was born, Terrell Lemons.

Johnny lived 25 years in Baton Rouge, La., ten years in Seattle, Washington
and six years in Monroe, La.

Johnny Lemons leaves to mourn his death: his wife, Lemmie Lemons; one son, Terrell Lemons; two grandsons: Terrell Lemons, Jr. and Tabais Lemons all of Baton Rouge, La.; two brothers: Charles Roberson and Edward Lemons both of Monroe, La.; six sisters: Margaret Lemons Conner, Patricia Harper, Priscilla Lawson all of Monroe, La., Rosie Flody of Gresham, Oregan, Betty Day of Los Angeles, CA and Gloria Smith of Tyler, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
