Janice Fleming will return to the big stage next month as she recreates the role of Lula Anderson in next month’s Black Heritage Drama at the Monroe Civic Center.
Fleming, an instructor at Carroll High School and an alderwoman for the Town of Richwood, is no stranger to the big stage she has awed audiences over the years with her depictions of strong African-American women, including “Honey Babe” and the “Hanging Tree.”
