A man has been charged with the murder of an 18 month old child in his care four years ago.
Police have accused Christoper D. James of the 2017 murder of an infant and his attempt to hide the incident from law enforcement.
According to a Monroe Police Department report, on December 1, 2017 police were called to an apartment in the Parkview apartments in response to an unresponsive child call. The police found an unresponsive child in the apartment and was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
