On January 13, 2018, members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated throughout the world paused to acknowledge 105 years of sisterhood and service.
Monroe area chapters, including: Monroe Alumnae, Monroe Metropolitan and Lambda Rho Chapters (ULM), used the weekend of January 20-21st to celebrate the Founders Day anniversary. Other north Louisiana chapters attending were: Grambling Alumnae, Minden Alumnae, Shreveport Alumnae, and Kappa Chi (La Tech).
