Creech wins Mother’s Day contest, gifts and glamour shoot

As mothers across the nation prepare for honors, one special mother will be honored in with a combination of gifts courtesy of local black businesses.
Peggy Creech, a local single mom, was selected for special gifts this week in a Mother’s Day contest on social media by Kita K. Wright of Proworks Productions.

Creech was selected from among dozens of applications based on a recommendation from her daughter who said her mother was deserving of the gifts that would be received.

Among the gifts she will receive are: Free Professional Photo Session with Proworks that will include a large resin photo to hang in her home. She will also receive a glamor makeover from GlaMarieous and a free hair styling for Mother’s Day from Luv Lee Hair and she will be provided an outfit for her photo shoot from Dusse Boutique.  She will be carried to the photo shoot in a stretch limo provided by D.R. Son’s Limo Service. After the shoot, she will be carried out to dinner in the limo to Copelands in Monroe. Next week, she will be featured in a full-page color spread as an example of the strength and beauty of today’s strong mothers.

Mrs. Creech’s only daughter wrote this about her mother: ” My Mother is Mrs. Peggy Creech. I am her only daughter. I have three daughters I am a single parent and she has forever supported us with no hesitation; she has such an amazing heart.

She is so deserving especially since I am not able to provide it myself at this time for her. She does so much for so many even when she’s tired and not feeling her best she pushes herself.

She lost her mom in 2000.  She was brutally murdered in Oak Grove along with her great Granddaughter. My mom has had such sadness since and there is nothing humanly possible to heal that hole. I really think this will be very deserving for this walking angel!! “
