City and Richwood candidates to faceoff in NAACP forum next week

The Monroe Civic Center is set to host an influential NAACP political forum on February 1, 2024, bringing together candidates from the City of Monroe and Richwood who are running in the March 23rd elections. Rev. Ambrose Douzart, president of the Ouachita NAACP, announced that the event will be live-streamed, providing a unique platform for candidates to present their plans and visions if elected.
