“Another Warrior gone home”
Our hearts are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear mother Barbara Walker. She was born on May 12, 1927, to the late William and Ethel Johnson. She was the last of 13 siblings.
She earned her wings on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Her beautiful spirit will forever be cherished by family, friends, and neighbors in the Booker T. area.
Her celebration will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 21, 2022, at Friendship Baptist Church, 4009 Wiley Street in Monroe, Rev. Jessie McCoy, pastor. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Richardson’s Funeral Home, 1866 Winnsboro Rd. in Monroe.
