Ernest Muhammad, a candidate for Monroe City Schools District 4, says he is concerned about the quality of education in the district. As a former elementary school teacher at Roy Neal Shelling Elementary, he said he is familiar with many of the system’s problems and wants to help correct them. The meet-and-greet was held Tuesday night at a local hotel.
