Nelson Mandela said, “ Do not judge me by my success, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up.” We must remember our greatest success in life is not falling down, but it is rising every time we fall. A person must be prepared to fight a battle several times before winning. You must know that everything you need to win is on the inside of you. You have the power to pick yourself up and move forward to win. You have the power to turn your setbacks into your comeback.
One of the ways people give up their power is to think they do not have any. You have the power to say, “ This is not how my story will end.” We are not what happened to us, we are what we choose to become. Your past does not equal your future. Today, you can become better and stronger than yesterday. Remember, your greatest adversity will lead you to your greatest opportunity in life. Sometimes, life can be tough, always remember, so are you.
