Wossman Cinderella story ends with state championship title

What a difference a year makes. Last year the Wossman Boys basketball team lost its bid for a state championship and its girls team barely squeaked into the playoffs. The boys team came home to a school yard full of fans who cheered them as heros for making the school proud.

Last year the girls’ team was looking for answers after barely sneaking in the playoffs as a  #30 seed and losing to South Beauregard, 78-34.
