When Demilya Pratt, age 26, went to the home of a man she said owed her money, she wanted him to know it was not a burglary, and it wasn’t a secret either. Pratt used her cell phone and broadcast her “break-in” on Facebook live.
Pratt kicked in the front door of the man’s home and retrieved $1,000 in cash she claims he owed her.
The man reported Pratt to the police and used the Facebook post as evidence. On the video, Pratt can be seen admitting to kicking in the door and taking the money from him.
Pratt admitted her deed, but said she did not steal the money because it was owed to her.
She was charged with Simple Criminal Damange to Property and Simple Burglary.
