Woman replaces leaky roof with SNAP subsidy, more available

Kimberlee Johnson says her mother is all smiles after she had a leak and her roof repaired with funds from an overlooked source, the SNAP program.

SNAP is the program that is usually associated with food and is commonly called “The food stamp program.” Kimberlee’s mom, Dorothy, found out that a local bank had funds to help storm victims through SNAP and moved quickly to take advantage of the opportunity.
