When God shuts the door, no one can open it! Come, now!

Scripture: And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord…And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and All thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation… And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut them in…(Genesis 6:5-8, 7:1,16).

My Friends,

Amazingly, as much as God loves man and humankind, it repented him that He made man in the days of Noah. In other words, God was disappointed in the rebellious and evil ways of humankind. Interestingly, God had a remedy for the evil ways of men-that was to destroy everything, including every creeping living thing on earth. Wow! God was serious! Nevertheless, prior to the destruction of the earth’s contents, he gave the people an opportunity to turn from their wicked ways. In like manner, He is giving all today a chance to repent from their evil ways and accept His Son, Jesus as their personal Savior.

Remarkably, Noah found favor with the Lord and was chosen to build an ark in order to save a remnant of humankind, creeping things and fowls of the air. Once he, his family and the animals were in the ark, God shuts them in. The door was left open for many years, but when it was time for the wrath of God, He shut the door of the ark and others could not come in. John records in the Book of Revelation 3:7, “…these are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.”

Listen, we may not need a physical ark, today. However, we need Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. For those who do not accept Him as their Savior, they will suffer the wrath of God. So, the door is open now-come in while you have time.” “When God shuts it, no one can open it.”
