The New Tabernacle Baptist Church completed its week of VBS (Vacation Bible School) on last Friday, June 9th. The VBS event started on Monday, June 5 and ended on Friday, June 9, 2017.
This event attracted over 80 participants. This was inclusive of “Tab” members, non-members, and a participation of many children. Participants, age less than a year, and up, enjoyed the food, fellowship, family and fun. The theme of this year’s VBS was “The Faith Run: On Course with God!”
Participants learned that entering the “Faith Run” begins with a willing spirit and to finish the race, we must know God’s Word and keep the faith. VBS participants also learned that there is a prize for everyone who endures and finishes the race. The program closed with presentations from each class.
