The Town of Richwood met for Regular Meeting held on June 20, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Richwood Multi-Purpose Center, 2710 Martin Luther King Drive, Richwood, Louisiana to consider the following business:
I. Meeting Called to Order by Mayor Gerald Brown at 7:07 P.M.
II. Prayer- was offered by Mr. Nate Brown
III. Pledge of Allegiance – recited in unison.
IV. Roll Call- Mayor Gerald Brown called roll with the following results:
* The record shall reflect all (3) Aldermen present at time of roll call.

V. Adoption of the Agenda-
It was motioned by Alderman Simeon Profit and seconded by Alderman Janice Fleming to adopt the agenda.
* The record shall reflect a vote was taken to adopt the with the following results: (3) Votes Yes to adopt the agenda as presented.

VI. Adoption of May 16, 2024, Regular Meeting Minutes
It was motioned by Alderman Simeon Profit and seconded by Alderman Janice Fleming to adopt the May 16, 2024, Regular Meeting Minutes .
* The record shall reflect a vote was taken to adopt the May 16, 2024, Minutes with the following results: ( 3) Votes Yes to adopt.

VII. Adoption of Financial Reports:
It was motioned by Alderman Simeon Profit and seconded by Alderman Janice Fleming to adopt the Financial Reports as presented.
* The record shall reflect a vote was taken to adopt the Financial Reports with the following results: ( 3) Votes Yes to adopt.

VIII. Public Comments as they relate to items on the agenda: None
IX. Mayor s Dialogue
Mayor Gerald Brown- advised the forum of the June 25th Monroe Chamber Business Alliance meeting, the Inauguration on July 12th @ 10:00 a.m. and on August 1,2 & 3rd being held in Shreveport .
X. Adoption of Ordinance 2024-01 ( An Ordinance adopting the Town Expenditures for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025)
It was motioned by Alderman Simeon Profit and seconded by Alderman Janice Fleming to adopt Ordinance 2024-01 ( An Ordinance adopting the Town Expenditures for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025).
* The record shall reflect a vote was taken to adopt Ordinance 2024-01 ( An Ordinance adopting the Town Expenditures for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025) with the following results: (3) Votes Yes to adopt.

XI. Introduction of Ordinance 2024-02 ( An Ordinance amending Ordinance 2023-05 of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinance with respect to regulate the operation hours back to closing at 2:00 a.m. of all places of business where alcoholic beverages are kept, sold, stored for sale at retail, served or consumed, including food trucks that serve food on the premises where alcohol is kept, sold, stored for sale at retail server or consumed.

It was motioned by Alderman Simeon Profit and seconded by Alderman Janice Fleming to adjourn meeting at 7:41 p.m.
