The annual Top Gun Time Traveler’s rummage sale will be held Saturday, June 1st.
The rummage sale will be held on the parking lot of the Eastgate Shopping Center on Louisville Avenue.
The rummage sale benefits the Top Gun Time Travelers, a group of young people who study leadership and American history year round. The group travels to all 50 states studying African-American history and gathering leadership ideas for their generation.
The profits from the rummage sale help subsidize the costs of the annual tours for the participants.
According to Flo Carroll, coordinator of the 2019 sale, several families will host the sale this year as usual and will have clothing, household furnishings, electronics, books, and videos for sale and very low prices.
Carroll said the sale begins Saturday at 6 a.m. until about noon.
