We are moving into a new season. We turned our clocks back in the fall, but in the springtime, we are ready to spring forward. We also must spring forward in our thinking and our actions. We just celebrated Black History Month and we must remember our future is bigger than our past. We can’t change the past, but we can change our future. Every setback is preparing you for your comeback this year.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “If you can’t fly then run. If you can’t run then walk. If you can’t walk then crawl. But whatever you do. You have to keep moving forward.” The opportunities are in front of us. Some you will have to create for yourselves this year. Your future depends on what you do today. Do your future self a favor and work hard today. It’s time to spruce up our thinking and spring forward.
