Chapter 240 located in Cedar Hill, Texas was selected to attend President Biden’s news briefing at Fort Worth, Texas VA Hospital in early March. His briefing was his concerns of Health care of our Heroes, the Veterans, and how to better take care of their physical and mental needs as well as their family’s needs. We didn’t get the opportunity to speak with President Biden but we were able to speak with, Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Mr. McDonough, to voice some of our concerns about the disability process. Just being able to attend was an awesome opportunity. Our chapter is dedicated to a single purpose, “Empowering Veterans to lead high- quality lives with respect and dignity”
