Rodney McMcfarland warned that a planned takeover of Neville High School as a charter, led by Susan Weaver with Brent Vidrine as its principal, could be the handwriting on the wall for black students. He felt it was a reaction to the leadership of Kathleen Harris, the black superintendent. He urged Board President Verbon Muhammad to support her or the Neville Charter plan would go through. Muhammad voted against Dr. Harris' plans. Read More (11)
