My Friends,
It is a great pleasure to be able to attend worship service and God’s Spirit is at the hem of it all. When God’s presence is in your worship services, it simply means that the peoples’ heart is set on Him and His goodness. When a congregation of believers gathers and sincerely give Him the honor and praise, it is truly rewarding for all those who chose to be apart of such a great outpouring of thanksgiving and appreciation of the goodness of God.
Has God brought you out of some situations that you knew should have taken you in another direction? Has God provided for your needs when you thought you were not going to make it? In fact, you did not know where the next meal or even the next dime would come from to pay the necessary bills. Interestingly, during Sunday morning service, you begin to think about all the things God has done for you, and an immediate response to His goodness is to “Sing praises to our God, our King, or even clap your hands.
Although the world has been through disasters, tragedies, and community catastrophes, God never ceases to bring us out. Now, things may look impossible; however, God works out the impossibilities so that we can bask in His goodness and Sing praises to Him. The psalmist sang, “I sing praises to your name, oh Lord…For Your name is great and greatly to be praised.” When trouble is present one my declare as David, the Psalmist, did when Saul, his adversary, was trying to kill him, “But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble” (Psalm 59:16 (KJV).
Particularly, the psalmist sang in Psalm 47, “Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. For the LORD Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth. He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet. He chose our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom he loved. God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the LORD amid the sounding of trumpets. Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne…” (NIV). The psalmist recognize that God is King of the world. No matter what the situation of the world maybe, He is King who deserves and must be praised. So, “come what may”, “Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
Jesus Saves! “Come while you have time.”
