A powerhouse in state and national circles died last week, the Rev. Dr. Jessie Bilberry.
Dr. Bilberry died Friday at the age of 93.
Dr. Bilberry was the pastor Emeritus of the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church of Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he served as pastor for 35 years before retiring in 2019, at the age of 90.
