Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting of a local delivery driver in a suspected robbery Monday Morning.
According to Detective Reggie Brown of the Monroe Police Department, they are still sorting the details of what appears to have been a robbery attempt and shooting on the Parking Lot of the Antioch Baptist Church.
Brown said Roderick Young, who told police that he was a driver for Fed Ex, was driving in the Renwick neighborhood at about 5 a.m. on Monday, December 11th. Brown said Young stopped his truck on the Antioch Parking lot and was approached by two men wearing masks.
