We look closely to the word community, we see that the last 5 letters spell unity. So, what is the definition of unity? It is a deep appreciation and respect for the unique gifts and talents in all of us. We all speak of it in coming together with a mission to rise as one.
Successful athletic teams come together to win championships because they are on one accord and determined to succeed. Corporations leadership insist on understanding their mission statements such they can see a profit at the end of the year. When we come together as a community, we do great things. This past ice storm that hit our community is a perfect example.
Governmental officials, Red Cross, clubs and organizations came together to assist the people in providing for food, clothing, housing just to name a few. When tornados have hit our community the very same things occur. When the community meets all the way or half of the way, wonderful things happen.
Let’s put a plan of action together where the focus will be in coming together to lift up our community. When this happens, We can Love where we Live and Live where we Love
