An unidentified Monroe woman may have been one of the victims of a reputed serial killer, according to the FBI.
The FBI released pictures of a woman believed to be a victim of Samuel Little, known as the “most prolific” serial killer in U.S. history.
Little has confessed to 93 murders across the country from 1970 to 2005.
The FBI has verified 50 of those confessions but believes Little’s confessions to be credible.
Among the 43, unverified murders was that of a Monroe woman Little claims to have drowned in 1978.
They left in his a Lincoln Continental Mark III. Little says he drove her to the Little Woods exit off I-10, turning down a dirt road by a canal. They exited his car, Little pulled her toward the water. He said she was the only one of his victims he killed by drowning.
Anyone who can help confirm the identity of the reported victim should contact the FBI.
