Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s office and the State Police are investigating the death of a Monroe Police Officer who died early on the morning of January 7th, apparently of a self inflicted gunshot wound.
Department sources report that officer Christopher Beaudion, who began with the department in 2016, was found in his automobile off South Second Street. His vehicle had crashed into a tree. Sources report that Beaudion was also shot in the head by what appeared to be a self inflicted wound with his service revolver.
