LEASED IT FIBER Wide Area Network (WAN) and Internet Access Services
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
MONROE CITY SCHOOLS, aka “DISTRICT,” seeks proposals for LEASED LIT FIBER WIDE AREA NETWORK connectivity AND INTERNET ACCESS to 25 eligible entities listed on Page 23-24.
Currently, the data center is located at 2006 Tower Drive Monroe, Louisiana. All services terminate at this location. The District has 2 GIGS of Internet Access that are shared among all sites.
The DISTRICT desires a LEASED LIT FIBER network. The current network is a fiber WAN network, and each site has 10 GIG connections that terminate at the data center. Some circuits are shared with nearby sites.
Sealed proposals must be sent certified mail, UPS, Fed Ex, or hand-delivered to MONROE CITY SCHOOLS, or proposals may be uploaded at www.bidexpress.com and or www.mcschools.net/purchasing. Please check the Bidexpress.com and/or the mcschools.net website in ADVANCE for rules and fees for uploading to the bidding site. The DISTRICT is not responsible for delays in uploading, and proposals received after the deadline will be disqualified.
