Scripture: Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise Him in the heights, Praise ye him all His angels: Praise ye him all his hosts. Praise ye him sun and moon… all ye stars of light… Praise the Lord from the earth… Fire and hail; snow and vapors; stormy wind fulfilling His word: Mountains and all hills; fruitful trees… Beasts and all cattle… Kings of the earth and all people… young men and maidens; old men and children… Praise ye the Lord. (Selected passages from Psalm 148 KJV).
My friends, what a blessing to continue sharing with you some monumental events God has permitted me to experience during my lifetime.
As I traveled from Monroe to Denver, CO to visit family and friends, I was blessed to see an exquisite display of God’s handiworks in the formation of a double rainbow which extended for miles over the top of one of His awesome mountain ranges. In hindsight, the entire scenario appeared to this writer as an engagement ring and wedding band as God’s reminder of His keeping His covenant with Noah, his sons and us, “Never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth… I set My rainbow in the cloud …the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.” (Genesis 9:11b; 9:13 KJV)
It is true, we have had floods in Monroe and other places, but not throughout His entire created world at the same time.
I vividly remember, as two friends were taking me to my God-given home, suddenly a rainbow appeared in front of the car and extended upward from the street toward the sky. In fact, it appeared unknowingly to the driver and the other passenger because we rode thru it SOOO quickly. I tried in vain to persuade the driver to stop, turn around, do something, what? Anything! But to no avail!!
Now, in hindsight, maybe it was a promise from God to me? In a brief time afterwards, I did almost a year’s “stint” in hospitals and a nursing home which resulted in fruitless preparations to lay my body to rest in God’s eternity.
Among God’s other innumerable displays of His awesomeness is a picture shared by Mrs. Cydell Jones’ son, Etho Pugh of Midlothian, TX, of God’s beautiful display of His sun, moon, and stars appearing at the same time one late afternoon in his neighborhood. Prophet Elisha Cook shared a picture of the sun, moon, and stars on display during midday. Both Dean Lisa Wilmore and Rev. Robert Bradford, Jr. shared pictures of a rare display of God’s heaven lies in which it appeared as if He had dispatched an angel to appear during one of His indescribable sunsets.
Oh, My Friends! We need to spend more time Praising God for His awesome handiworks than continuously wasting His valuable time bowing down to…!! Our enemies are fast approaching!!! Beware!!!! Lookup!!!!! Look around!!!!!! Look!!!!!!!!
Love you much,
Jacquelyn Simmons
