Dear Editor,
I’ve been incarcerated damn near all my life but that’s another story. The purpose of this letter is to inform y’all of what’s going on here at David Wade Correctional Center. Yes, it’s Military Torture on Bell Hill Road, starring Jerry Goodwin and his wife Kayla Sherman, along with their rooks, knights, bishops, and pawns. Yes, they’re a big, corrupted chessboard.
First, I’d like to bring to the public’s attention, that the conditions here at DWCC are unhealthy, unconstitutional, and so very unsafe.
Taxpayers are wasting money, time, and hard work doing all they can, while the people here at DWCC are sitting back getting full doing nothing.
This prison needs Federal and public attention because the state is riding the wave with them. They’re covering up muddy murders, beatings, sexual assaults, bribes, stealing money, and inmates’ property. Excessive force by beatings or mace/gas, which is worse than secondhand smoke. It affects the inmates with asthma, burning of eyes, coughing, and gagging similar to the ones on who they use gas on. Also, the food is roach and fly infested. Often spoiled meat is served.
We’re in the cells 23 ½hrs a day sometimes 24hrs.
In order for us to use the phone, we have to choose between using the shower or using the phone then it’s four to six minute phone calls. The showers are mildewed, covered with paint. The water is penny brown on any given week. Then we’re shackled to go shower with dirty unsanitary shackles from previous inmates who just left off the yard. The shackles are not sanitized at all.
They use the same restraints on hundreds of inmates. They are rust and dried-up dirt on all shackles. When guys on another unit with the same charge, and status don’t use shackles to go shower in. It’s discrimination heavy here at DWCC.
Solitary Confinement is 96% Blacks when Whites catch the same rule violation and get to sit at the table as a warning.
The unexplained deaths we call murders are being sugar-coated and called heart attacks, but they’re actually murders.
I’m in process of coming home, but as I write this letter, I’m sure I might not make it. Please hear my cry. Make sure the public ears and eyes know what is going on here on DWCC chessboard.
I’m sure when y’all print this article I’ll be subject to torture probably murder, but hey it is what it is, just make sure I’m heard loud and clear.
Someone, please challenge DWCC and its chess pieces on their Devilish Board.
I’m writing on the behalf of myself along with many other inmates here at David Wade Correctional Center. My cry is so very heavy. Please help us here at this prison.
