Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s deputies arrested a West Monroe man today for a physical altercation with this wife. Kelley Thomas Bolton was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Battery and Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault.
Deputies spoke with the victim who advised that she was in an argument with her husband, Kelley Bolton. She stated that the argument became physical as he pushed her. The victim advised the suspect then grabbed her and pushed her down and sat on top of her and head butted her. The officer observed swelling and bruising to the victim’s forehead.
According to the deputy, the victim stated that she then tried to leave with her sister in law and he came after them with a knife stating he would kill them. She advised that she left the area and contacted 911.
The deputies made contact with the suspect and advised him of his Miranda Rights, which he stated he understood. Bolton stated that she hit him several times in the face at which point he grabbed her and held her. He said that she head butted him, but the deputy reported that he did not observe any bruising or marks on Bolton other than the self inflicted knife wound to his left forearm. He was transported to Conway hospital, treated and booked in to OCC.
