Grow, grow, and then grow some more

By Rusty Potter

It is in our nature to strive and move in a direction we deem valuable to our happiness. We are accountable for our own happiness and success in life. There is always something new to learn every day. Mark Twain said, “Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening when you would rather have talked.”

Your education is not something you can finish. We can never stop learning because life will never stop teaching us new lessons. Nothing is beyond your reach when you focus on your education. We must develop a passion for learning. If we do this, we will never stop growing. Remember, nothing changes for the better until you change. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “If you can’t fly, then run; if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.” This school year make plans to give 100% to your education. No student rises to low expectations. Learn something new every day. Today, work on improving yourself, read more, learn more and accomplish more.
