Scripture: When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:13-19).
My Friends,
After God told me, “Tena” (one of my nicknames), I will remove the box”, there was noting I could do but sit and wait for him to remove it. Of course, I continued peeping out the window during the days and nights, before going to work and afterwards…the “peeps” could destroy that window would have had to be replaced several times.
One night, after I had settled under the covers, I heard a loud thundering and lightening flashing outside and then a sudden quietness, and God said to me very quietly, “Tena” the box. Oh, my friends, I vigorously threw the covers back over my head and sprang to my feet and looked out the window and the rest is history. Not only was the box gone, but the piece off the car disappeared, also. To add to that miracle, the weather was calm as if it had never been inclement early. Even though I was well clad in night clothes, I had to restrain myself from running outside and continuing running up and down the huge drainage ditch praising God, praising God, praising and thanking God for getting rid of the box and all of the added paraphernalia. He got rid of my box!!! Hallelujah!!!! Praise His holy name!!!!!!!!! That was one of the happiest moment of my life-if not the happiest. Praise God!!!!!!!!!
There are many kinds of boxes. Some are large while others are small. Some are made in various shapes-round, square, rectangular, heart-shaped, etc. Some are made in various colors, red, white, brown, blue, black, pink, etc.
Suddenly, some boxes arrive in our personal lives: loss of jobs, friendships which you cannot explain, divorces, deaths, car wrecks, health issues, school issues, neighborhood issues, etc.
Oh! my friends our list of boxes can be endless. But, God, can and will remove our boxes. But! We have to wait. Sometimes it appears as if we have to wait forever, but trust Him and He will remove your boxes. I know he will! Everybody has boxes but he will reomve them. He will keep his word. My message to you is to wait on god he will remove your boxes, also. God bless!!!!
Love You much,
Jacquelyn Simmons
P.S. Sometimes it appears as if we have a stack of boxes with our piles getting higher and higher; however, he can remove all of them at one time. Trust him and wait. He will remove your boxes.
