Lavonne Neal, 54, of Monroe, passed away on August 22, 2025. Visitation will be held Friday, September 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McFarland Funeral Companies, 1901 Burg Jones Lane, Monroe. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, September 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Greater Free Gift Baptist Church, with burial at Richwood Memorial Gardens.
Carla Latrice Washington, 54, of Ferriday, food service manager, died August 29, 2025. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Ambassador Outreach in Ferriday. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church, followed by burial at St. James Baptist Church Cemetery in Frogmore under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Gregory Zeagler, 68, of West Monroe, a carpenter, died August 25, 2025. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in West Monroe.
