Fred Louis has seen his share of troubles in the last six months, but he’s still running for Mayor of Monroe and pleads for a more compassionate, sensitive city that can feel the pressure, pain, and problems of its citizens.
Louis recently won his personal fight with COVID-19 after being hospitalized and released as a COVID victim. However, he had to struggle with the death of both parents and a brother whose lives were claimed by the disease, and a sister who was infected but recovered.
He said he is continuing his mayoral campaign because he believes that the generation is changing and he wants to make himself a part of the new generation of kinder, gentler leaders who have a higher level of sensitivity to the personal needs of its citizens.
