This year we have experienced intense setbacks, economic downturns, racial strife, and a pandemic. We all have endured some types of setbacks in the past two years. The setbacks are just a bend in the road of life. Remember it is a bend, this is not the end of the road. We must take the bend and go with it. We must also grow with it. We must learn five lessons from any mistake we make in life. We must learn something new every day. We can make our next move our best move. There is nothing that you and God can’t overcome. The best things in life are on the other side of fear.
Your mind can work for you or it can work against you. If you want it to work for you, fill it with positive thoughts. Set up your life to win, and you will win. There is an old African proverb that reads: When there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do you no harm. We may have challenging tasks ahead of us this year, but they will never be greater than the strength within us.
