Delta Community College now checking ACT scores for admission

For the first time, Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) is incorporating ACT scores in English and Math as part of its admissions process. This new policy, effective from the 2024-2025 school year, is a significant shift for the institution and may come as a surprise to local students who have previously focused on career-oriented Work Keys scores, which are recognized by some businesses but not by community colleges across the state.

New Admission Requirements

Responding to new state requirements, LDCC has introduced a policy requiring students who score below 18 on the ACT English section to enroll in additional support courses.
